The Other Art Fair
ART REFRAMED
When the art world as you knew it went one way, we went the other. Where elitism is the norm, we dared to deviate. Art isn’t confined to convention or rule, and how you enjoy it shouldn’t be either. Forget the typical, white-walled experience. You won’t find VIP ropes outside our door.
Here, art is for everyone. They’ve created something different, and they want you to experience it. They combine original yet affordable works from 120 independent artists with immersive installations, performances, DJs – and a fully stocked bar.
So why not do something impulsive, get excited, and revel in the creativity?
The Other Art Fair gives photographers and artists a great opportunity to access some markets otherwise usually unobtainable. Tim Elwin

Dawn Rising
In Dawn Rising, photographer Tim Elwin dissolves the real into the surreal as photography takes a step towards abstract paintings. Transcending visual art in a calming, yet inspirational space which can only be captured from within the ocean, whilst still dark, waiting and watching for the sun to peak its head over the horizon at dawn.
“I am so honoured to have my exhibition Dawn Rising be selected as part of the world’s second Photography Festival” - Tim Elwin

“DISTRESSED” A SHORT FILM
"Distressed" is a short film. There’s a juxtaposition of happiness and pain, calm yet distress. Sometimes, we just need to silently scream, so we can move on.
This film documents the making of a world first, unique image of how the ocean has played a pivotal role in calming the struggles and pain in my life over the past couple of years.

A photographic exhibition of Manly by sea.
"This is exhibition is the view I get of Manly, NSW each morning at dawn, from sea. I’ve been floating out in the ocean 100m off shore, waiting for the sun to peak over the horizon for a number of years now. Every day is different. Manly slowly comes to life, from the stunning colours to life savers’ training and the rest starting their day with an empowering dip into the salt water!"
